Tis the season to buy yourself gifts….
My excuse for this haul was the fact that I wanted to buy my sister a gift from here and then I couldn’t help but spend a little (Maybe a lot) On myself. I have had the most craziest month and that’s why I’ve kind of abandoned my blog and spent time making memories with my family. Since this is our first year in the house we decided to host it and that’s meant months of planning purely to make everything the most magical Christmas yet.
However that’s meant that I’ve had to have the best make up yet! All these family photos being taken, I can’t be looking like I’ve just rolled out of bed because that’s not a pretty site for anyone to see. So I’ve seen many people on Instagram raving about Sigma beauty and how fantastic not only are their make up brushes but also their make up. I decided it was time to invest and take a look for myself.
Firstly, The packaging! Now considering these come from overseas they really make sure that the products inside are secure and looked after. I’ve ordered eye shadow palettes in the past and they have become damaged through shiping and it’s too much hassle to try and correct it. These all come wrapped in bubble wrap and tones of tissue paper for extra support.
Starting with the Warm Neutrals eye shadow palette Volume 2. I originally saw Lydia Millen using this on her YouTube channel and the tones blending together really caught my attention. We probably all have some sort of neutral eye shadow palette in our beauty bag already but this is a must have! I have honestly used this palette everyday since it’s arrived and it’s gone down as my best palette I own. If you saw the state of this palette now you would understand my obsession with it. It’s such a useful size and fits perfectly in my make up bag and it even has a mirror!! It’s rare to see palettes these days with mirrors.
Now lets talk brushes!! Sigma Beauty is most know for their iconic brushes. These are something that you should be investing it. My whole reason behind purchasing these brushes is because I wanted to try the F80 Flat Kabuki foundation brush. I know everyone uses beauty blenders to apply their make up now, but It really isn’t for me as I don’t get the even finish that I would like to have. Since using the F80 Flat Kabuki brush I haven’t looked back! You can individually buy these brushes but if you look on the Sigma website they do great deals if you buy the set of them. I have currently started using my Baking and Strobing brush set and I won’t be purchasing brushes off another brand again! If you are in need of long lasting and durable brushes then you should consider investing in these brushes. Sigma Beauty also offer a 2 year warranty on all of their brushes with is defiantly worth considering if you want to invest in a brand to last for years.
Now due to the amount of brushes that I brought I knew I needed to purchase the brush cleaners. You have probably seen these brush cleansers advertised on Instagram and Facebook. I seen a few advertisements on them and reviews online and they genuine show excellent results when you use these cleansers for cleaning. You attach the round cleanser to the side of your sink and then use a small amount of the foam and then follow the instructions for the correct motions of the brushes and the amount of make up you remove is satisfying. Inside the packaging you have directions for how to use product the correct way to ensure you’re not damaging the brushes.
When I was buying the Brush cleanser I seen they did a special Christmas gift set which has the foam to use on the brushes (I also brought a separate one as this is for Amber) You then also get the brush cleaning mat inside which is what you can use alongside the brush cleanser to help clear even more make up on the brushes. You also get the best selling make up brush inside which is the 3DHD Max kabuki brush. I recommend this set as they are all the full size products and they are all so much cheaper in the set than individually buying.
You can buy Sigma products in a selection of different stores online such as beauty bay, Cult beauty etc. I find it personally cheaper always going direct to the Sigma website as they always have different promotions on. They currently have 30% off everything online which is defiantly worth checking out if you’re considering using these products.
