IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!
Since moving into this home in June we didn’t plan on buying Christmas decorations on the run up to the move as we had more priorities with the house. BUT NOW!!! Its time to whip out those Christmas songs and start the shop to turn the house into a winter wonderland. I have never been so excited to decorate my house.
This year me and James have decided to host Christmas in our new home for both our families….. Yes this is a huge responsibility as we want everything to be perfect. I have decided to make my home a winter wonderland, I want sparkle everywhere in the house.
This is the cutest Christmas decoration so far! Meet Sammy the Squirrel, Hugo’s new friend (Yes we are crazy). But come on how cute is he? I got this adorable squirrel from the range. I have linked everything below in case you see something that you just can’t live without.
I then decide I needed to use these huge bows equally around the main tree to add more sparkle and make everything look more over the top and extra. These again are from the range, You will notice that the majority of these items are from the range as you get such amazing quality for such an affordable price. These were only 99p per bow, which is excellent as I’ve looked in all different places and they retail around £3.
James is sick of me and my obsession for lanterns around the house! So it didn’t matter that I decided to add an extra one with silver glitter all over it. This is from home bargains and comes with the light up candle in side.
These small Christmas trees are such adorable little extras to dot around the house. These are from the poundshop so you can guess the value for these. I seem to have about 8 of these around the house which just makes the whole house not forget that it’s Christmas.
More items from the Poundshop, they have really stepped up their game this year with all the silver sparkle decorations. I want these to add on the tables on Christmas day to add a more winter wonderland feel.
I thought because I want to continue the festivities across the whole of the house then why not use these as a lead in for going up the stairs? It’s like a gate way to even more Christmas love.
This little chunky reindeer I have seen all over Instagram when I’ve been stalking accounts with their latest Christmas hauls. Such a small decoration but it honestly looks so lovely on my shelf by the TV. I purchased this from the pound shop and they also do all different styles such as penguins and polar bears.
By where we live they have opened a huge home bargains store which is my ultimate dream! They have a huge section of the store which is all silver and White Christmas decorations and they are all to die for!! Me and James took a trolley in and ended up buying everything!!! The majority of the items I haven’t featured in here as it would go on forever and it’s very repetitive. So we brought a few of these Merry Christmas decorations that we can dot around the doors in the house and add to the tree to be the centre piece.
Christmas stockings!!!! I really want to get personalised stockings but thought these are too adorable not to purchase. I’ve looked on Ebay and you can buy silver letters that you can iron on which I thought would make a unique touch to these stockings. I purchased these from the range for £3.49 which is so cheap, all the personalised stockings online are £15 and more.
I have brought my special decorations and ones that I want to prioritise but you can’t go wrong with these £2.99 box of baubles from the range to help fill the gaps up in the tree and to
My favourite decorations this year has to be my little nutcrackers. These have made the whole theme I’m going for complete! I have them sitting on my side boards in the hallway and they are so sparkly and really make your house feel even more magical with these on top.
I am so excited for Christmas this year I am literally like a 3 year old. I think because this is our first Christmas in our new home we want everything to be so special and over the top. We have decided to have a Christmas tree downstairs (Hoping Hugo doesn’t attempt to eat it) and also a tree upstairs in the living room which will be our main tree with all our personal decorations on as Hugo can’t attack that one.
